Sidereal vs. Tropical
Tropical astrology, used by most Western astrologers, is based on seasons rather than real constellation positions. This means there is a difference of approximately 24 degrees between the tropical zodiac and true astronomical positions.
Real sidereal astrology, on the other hand, uses precise astronomical positions of celestial bodies. When we say you have the Sun in a certain sign, it corresponds to the constellation where the Sun actually was at the moment of your birth.
